Shelby Brown serves as Chair of the UAHT Foundation Board and Secretary of the UAHT Board of Visitors, where she brings strong leadership and deep community ties to both roles. She is the Administrator of Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Hope, Arkansas, and has dedicated her career to healthcare and regional service.

 

A resident of Texarkana, Arkansas, Shelby is married to Allen Brown, Mayor of Texarkana. Together they share a close-knit family that includes three grown sons, three daughters-in-law, and seven grandchildren. She is also an active member of First United Methodist Church in Texarkana, where her commitment to service extends into her faith community.
