Michael Cox currently serves as the Dean for Math, Science and Social Sciences at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana.

 

Michael earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science in 2005, and his Master of Arts in History in 2007, both from Arkansas Tech University. He began his teaching career at the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton, serving as an adjunct history instructor. He became a full-time history instructor at University of Arkansas Rich Mountain in 2009, later serving as division chair of the Humanities division.

 

Michael joined UAHT in 2012 as a full-time history instructor. In 2015, he became dean of the newly created Math and Social Science Division. After a division restructuring, the Science department was added to his division in 2021.

 

Michael lives in Murfreesboro, AR with his wife and their two children.
