Jennifer Teresa

UAHT Dean of Business, Trade, and Industry

Jennifer Teresa is a dedicated higher education professional with a diverse background in technical instruction, academic leadership, and student-focused program development. She began her academic journey at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana (UAHT), where she earned a degree in Power Plant Technology in 2011. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2013 and a degree in Business Administration in 2016, both from Texas A&M University-Texarkana.

 

Jennifer joined UAHT in 2013 as an adjunct instructor in Power Plant Technology and quickly advanced into a full-time faculty position. In 2016, she was named Academic Dean for the Technical and Industrial Division. After a strategic realignment of academic divisions, her leadership role expanded to include oversight of the Business and Technology programs. In addition to her academic responsibilities, she also serves as Director of the James Black School of Bladesmithing, where she plays a key role in preserving and promoting the traditional art and craft of bladesmithing.

 

Outside of her professional life, Jennifer is married to Martin Teresa, and together they have four children: Dillon, Abigail, Katelynn, and Isaiah. Her commitment to education, family, and community continues to guide her work and inspire those around her.
